London to Amsterdam to Brussels Cycle Challenge
September 5th - 9th 2019 - Private
Your London to Amsterdam to Brussels cycling challenge will see you cycling over 250 miles (400 kms) over 4 days and through 3 countries. The challenge starts from North East London and finishes at the Atomium in Brussels.
Your challenge begins in bustling London city in Romford where you will meet the rest of your group and navigate your way through the outskirts of England’s capital and out into the leafy suburbs. You will head towards Chelmsford and then out on quiet roads towards Colchester, the oldest Roman town in Britain. The first day finishes at Harwich where you will board the ferry to the Hook of Holland and spend your night in an en-suite cabin berth on board the ferry.
Your second day is along traffic free cycle paths to Amsterdam through the beautiful countryside of The Netherlands. The wind off the sea will be your main challenge on route to Amsterdam as this day will be hill free cycling.
The penultimate day's cycling will take you from Amsterdam working your way southwards towards the Belgian border, stopping a few miles shy of the actual border in Tilburg where you can rest after a great cycling experience.
Your final day of your cycle challenge pushes your stamina cycling on to the Belgian capital and to the famous Atomium sculpture. It is here you can celebrate in style with a glass of champagne before the final short cycle to your hotel. You return home the following afternoon with some well earned comfort on the Eurostar.
